Vanessa Blue, first black female director to receive proper recognition for a job well done, has her own site entitled VanessaBlue.com. Her nom-de-plume as a director is Domina X. The movies to win the coveted awards were Vols. II, III and IV of the Black Reign series under the category Best Ethnic-Themed Series. Obviously, she is a force to be reckoned with. If she can garner awards for her work, her site has to be similarly “Oscar-worthy”. But is it?
I’m pleased to announce, hells yeah! The site is tight and user-friendly. Just like our resident web mistress and MC, Vanessa Blue. She is one hot, big-breasted black babe. On her site you can find Videos, Photos, Diary, Playboy TV, Fan Clubs and Chat. Everything is downloadable and lengthy. Just the way it should be.

More often than not, when a porn site is helmed by a porn star, the offerings are usually megalomaniacal in nature. It’s not often that an acclaimed porn director offers his or her services to a site. A few names come to mind where this has worked… Peter North, Randy West and some others. But can a female director offer the same kind of meaty entrails? I’m happy to say, yes! Vanessa Blue knows what she’s doing and knows what her fans and members require.
On the main page, you’re greeted with Vanessa and her video camera and her cow tongue licking said object. Right away, you know she means business. In small type she declares

The main page is interactive and offers future members a lot to digest. An elegant black background with color pictures tantalizes you and gives you food for thought. There are no black dots covering the important areas, nor are there endless ads for you to sift through. The site is there; take it or leave it. I think I’ll take it.
Updates seem pretty regular. There were at least 3 new additions within the last week when I sat down to pen this review. Vanessa takes pride in her work and constant updates show she is on top of things.
Click on Photos and you are taken to page with plenty of pictures. Actually, thousands of them. And I didn’t even have to count them all. They are all neatly organized, categorized and counted for you. You have the option of clicking on Random Files, Last Additions and Categories. Categories include amateur, fetish, interracial, lesbian, group pics and blow jobs. And there are literally thousands of pictures for each category and fetish. What’s even better is you can view these pictures either one by one or in a slideshow. The slideshow is a great idea because it’s fluid and will produce the obvious fluids when it’s done. No need to click “next, next, next”. The site does it for you. Have a favorite snap you want to keep for future whackage? Simple. Just click a button and it is saved into a “favorites” file folder. Nice. The page also offers comments for each pic and which ones were the most viewed or downloaded. You can also use the nifty “search” bar option for particular snaps. Again, a really nice touch.
The Video section is also neatly laid out. You can choose from categories or view the site’s entire library. Categories include Anal, Black Reign Series, Events, Girl on Girl, Private Collection and Solo Girl. Basically, the filmed versions of the static snaps with some extras. Categorizing each set of flicks is a welcomed idea. They also have thumbnails to help you choose the best of the lot. The videos are all downloadable and come in QuickTime. Each file is between 20 and 40 megs and offer clean, crisp movies of about 3 or 4 minutes each. Ample time to do what you came here to do.
You can see why Vanessa won some awards for her work. Her movies are pretty fucking good. You get black on white sex; white on black and the obvious black on black on white on black on… you get the picture. You’re also offered the same “search” option found in the picture gallery section. Again, a very welcomed tool.
The Diary section is an account of Vanessa’s day to day goings on and is quite interesting. It’s not of the “I woke up, had breakfast, took a shower, masturbated, made some phone calls, went to bed after a heavy dinner” variety. It’s quite explicit and helps members get into her head, if not her ass as is evidenced by her solo movie work (available for viewing on the site).
The Store section simply offers members the chance to buy any one of her videos and movies. The same stuff is available on her site, but segmented into sections of 3 and 4 minutes each. Personally, I think it’s a waste to buy stuff when you can obviously download for free through the site. But if you want more than 3 minutes of any particular flick, drop $19.99 on your own personalized collection.
Playboy TV is clips from her TV series Lex in the City. You can view clips from the show and download them as well. The clips aren’t very long; some less than a minute, but it’s still fun to view. The Anthology section is just a list of all the movies Vanessa either starred in or filmed. They are all available in her store to purchase if you really need a super Vanessa Blue fix. And $19.99 per film.
The Fan Club section takes you MSN Groups where you have to first sign up and prove you’re 18 years of age and is a waste of time and I didn’t even bother going through the required hoops. Pass. Click on Chat and you are offered the chance to chat with a bevy of black and white beauties… that is, IF they are online and in the mood. There is a schedule and bio for each, so you have a pretty good idea when they will be in the mood to chat. Unfortunately, none of it is free. You need to pay per minute.
Conclusion
Vanessa Blue is a beautiful, big breasted black entrepreneur. I say “entrepreneur” because she is parlaying her AVN fame into a website that will garner her some serious dough, and not just from member signups. Her offerings are plentiful AND downloadable. I recommend this site.
